Summer School
Alta Summer School Registration is now live. Information is available at https://ahs.canyonsdistrict.org/announcements/2025-2026-summer-courses/ASVAB Test
The ASVAB test will take place on April 22 at 8:00 AM in the Media Center. The test is optional and available to all students. Primarily an aptitude test, it can be useful in helping students identify potential careers and is required for those interested in joining the military. Alta Counseling Department Survey
Please see the links below for the Alta Counseling Department Needs Assessment Survey. Counselors use Needs Assessment Survey data to help us assess our program’s strengths and the areas where we need to improve. Students will have the opportunity to take their survey during Advisory on either April 20 or April 21.

April Hawk Hero Winners
Congratulations to our April 2026 PTSA Hawk Hero winners! Hawk Hero recipients are chosen from nominations made by Alta faculty, students, and parents. They are recognized for such things as having a positive attitude, showing kindness to others, doing good in our community, engaging in their schoolwork, going the extra mile, enduring hardship, or helping students and/or teachers. This month we awarded nine seniors before they graduate and head off into the world. They are Louie Nguyen, Sicily Howells, Haley Marston, Mya Woodhouse, Carol Alvarez, Alyssa Read, Kaylee Cannon, Sophie Lo, and Cynthia Crockett. They each received a gift bag full of Alta swag, freebies, and goodies. They also receive a reserved parking spot for a month. Many thanks to Alta PTSA parent donors, Robek’s, Menchie’s, Einstein Bagels, and Arctic Circle for their community support of this program! Way to go Hawk Heroes! Thanks for helping make Alta great!
