Program Length: 16 Weeks
Program Months: January – May
Weekly Schedule:
Tuesdays & Wednesdays
11:30 AM – 1:45 PM - Students will have the opportunity to learn about the different Career Opportunities that are offered by the Utah Department of Corrections, as well as learn how the Department of Corrections functions.
Hawk Hero Awards
Congratulations to our May 2026 PTSA Hawk Hero winners! Hawk Hero recipients are chosen from nominations made by Alta faculty, students, and parents. This month we recognized 10 seniors for their excellent work as Alta students. Khloe Van Valkenburg, Annastasia Wesche, Darian Aldous, Alex Jensen, Blayke Carter, Elizabeth Lyon, Bella Hansen, Emma Wolfe, Noah Barney, and Gracie Dawson. We will miss them! Also 4 juniors were recognized. Kingston Brown, Kaitlin Barron, Brady Houghton, & Tumi Lasode. Hawk Heroes are recognized for having a positive attitude, showing kindness to others, doing good in our community, engaging in their schoolwork, going the extra mile, or helping students and/or teachers. They all received a gift bag of Alta swag, freebies and goodies. They also received a reserved parking spot for a month!
