Summer School
Alta Summer School Registration is now live. Information is available at https://ahs.canyonsdistrict.org/announcements/2025-2026-summer-courses/ASVAB Test
The ASVAB test will take place on May 6 at 8:00 AM in the Hawk House Gallery. The test is optional and available to all students. Primarily an aptitude test, it can be useful in helping students identify potential careers and is required for those interested in joining the military. Monthly Digital Literacy Tip: What’s Ok To Share Online?
Many kids and teens will naturally want to share about themselves online. Talk with them about what’s OK to share and what to keep private. Find tips for kids and teens to keep their information safe and private when they use tech at https://tinyurl.com/CSprivacytips.
PTSA Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week: May 4th – May 8th
Alta’s Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is May 4th through May 8th! Alta PTSA has many fun activities planned to show our love and support for Alta’s Faculty! We would love community involvement with donations and time in three of the activities planned:
1. PTSA is serving the teachers & staff a Nacho Bar on Tuesday, May 5th, and Greek Bowls on Thursday, May 7th. We are asking for donations from the Alta community to help support these meals. Please sign-up below for items you can contribute and bring the food donations to the Alta front office by 10am on either Tuesday May 5th or Thursday May 7th, depending on the meal you are supporting. You may pick up used dishes at 2pm on both days in the main office.
2. We also need volunteers to help set up, serve, and clean up after each meal. Please sign up below if you can volunteer your time to help. Thank you so much!
3. We are giving each teacher & staff member a $20 gift card to Target to show our appreciation for all they do! We love our 181 teachers and staff here at Alta! We need the community’s help to purchase these gift cards. You can donate any monetary amount you would like to https://www.successfund.com/altaptsafundraiser or bring a physical $20 Target gift card to the office today Wed, April 21st through Friday, May 1st.
