✔UCAW (Utah College Application Week)
Hey, Seniors! UCAW is next week October 6th-10th. Wear your favorite College Gear on Monday, October 6th, on October 7th college representatives will be here to meet you and answer any questions you may have. On October 8-9th during ELA class, you will have the opportunity to fill out college applications. See the attached flyer for more details!
✔We Build Utah
Are you interested in a career in interior design, construction, or engineering? Salt Lake Community College is hosting their We Build Utah open house on Tuesday, October 7th from 9AM – 1PM. Lunch will be provided to everyone who attends. Sign up with Ms. Nelson in room 2117 if you’re interested!
✔AP Exams
Attention Parents of AP Students! It is time to register and pay for your student’s AP exams. AP exam fees are not included in student skyward accounts. Please consult the attached letter, see the letters that were mailed home, or look up exam ordering instructions on Alta’s test website for instructions on how to register and pay for AP exams. This process must be completed by the fall ordering deadline of Wednesday, November 12th.
✔Freshman Class Officer Elections
Is your freshman interested in running for student government? There will be an informational meeting about Student Government Freshman Elections on Tuesday, September 16th during advisory, in the Library. Students will apply to run at schoolelections.canyonsdistrict.org . Applications are due on October 2nd. Campaigning will begin on October 13th. Please start thinking about campaign ideas now.
