- Art Club: There will be an Art Club meeting this Thursday, November 6th after school in Mr McGee’s room, 1913. We will be creating a fun, fall-themed art piece. Be there!
- Driving Range: The driving range is going to start up again for 2nd quarter on Monday, November 10th. Please have cars moved off the range by 3pm to avoid getting a ticket.
- HOSA Blood Drive: Hey hawks, are you interested in saving lives? Sign up to donate blood at HOSA’s blood drive on November 25th! Each unit of blood donated can save up to 3 lives! You will receive a Chick-Fil-A gift card and be entered into a drawing for a guitar from Zakk Wylde! Scan the QR code on the poster in the commons and see Ms. Bennion or Ms. Alires for a permission slip.
- Drama Club: Come to Drama Club on Friday, November 7th for a Thanksgiving ! Enjoy fun activities and tasty treats! Everyone is welcome, so join us in the Little Theatre at 1 PM after school!
- Red Rodeo: Howdy, Cowboys and Cowgirls of Alta High! Dust off those boots and grab your partner, ‘cause the Red Rodeo Dance is ridin’ into town on November 15th!
That’s right — we’re talkin’ line dancin’, country tunes, and a rootin’-tootin’ good time you won’t wanna miss!

It’s time to let that country spirit show! - Veterans Day: Hey there, Hawks! Veterans Day is just around the corner, and we’ll be holding a special Veterans Day Assembly to honor the brave men and women who have served our country.
Do you have a veteran in your life you’d like to recognize — maybe a parent, grandparent, sibling, neighbor, or family friend? We’d love to include them in our celebration!
Stop by the main office for more information on how to submit their name and help us honor their service.

- SLCC Arts and Media Workshop: Calling all arts and video students! SLCC is hosting an Arts and Media Workshop on Friday, November 14th. These workshops include stage combat, lighting design, broadcasting, and more! Talk to Miss Nelson in room 2117 to sign up!

- AP Test Registration Deadline: Attention AP Students! The deadline to register and pay for AP exams is approaching. AP exam fees are not included on Skyward accounts are not a part of class fees. Pick up a flyer in student services or consult Alta’s website for instructions on how to register and pay for your exams before the November 12th deadline. Thank You!
