Alta Idol
Alta Idol is on Monday, January 26th at 7:00pm in the PAC! Come see some amazing talent! The contestants are: Selene Garcia, Jake Despain, Kaylee Cannon, Max Nelson, Lillie Nani, Tyler Weber, Lizzy DeBry, Austin Madsen, Leah Memmott, and Alyssa Read. We will also have guest performances by Kramer Morton and The Alta Hawkapella. You won’t want to miss this event!
Valentine’s Day Surprises!
Do you want to send your student a Valentine surprise at school? Alta’s Peer Leadership Team is selling lip suckers for only $1.50. These will be sent to your student during their Advisory class period on Wednesday, Feb 11th. Please add a separate candy gram to your cart per student. Opportunity Scholarship
Attention Seniors! The priority deadline for the Opportunity Scholarship application is Friday, January 23rd. Go to opportunityscholarship.org for more information and to see if you qualify for this scholarship. Call the Opportunity office at 801-646-4812 or see Mrs. Brown in the Counseling Center if you have questions or concerns.
ACT Info
Attention Juniors! The ACT will be administered at Alta High School on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The March ACT at Alta is provided free to Juniors, and all Juniors are already registered.
Sycamore Learning will conduct an informative seminar on March 7th, 2026, to help students prepare for the exam. Details on how to register for the seminar are enclosed and can be found in Alta’s Student Services Center.
