Attention Seniors!
- Please check your grades and graduation requirements. If you have any questions about where you stand, needed credits, or other graduation related information, please see your counselor ASAP.
- Seniors were able to start picking up their caps and gowns last week. Any student that is not on track with graduation credits or has fines on their account will not be able to pick up their cap & gown until those items are resolved.
- Senior Dinner Dance 2025 – May 14, 2025 – The event will be held at the Loveland Aquarium at 12033 Lone Peak Pkwy, Draper, UT 84020 from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Dress is semi-formal. Tickets are $50 each and include entry to the aquarium, the dinner, and the dance. Dinner options are listed on the tickets with allergy friendly options. Note that tickets are pre-purchase ONLY and must be purchased by: Thursday, May 1st at 6:00 p.m.
- Attention Seniors-Names read at Graduation! If you are worried about your name being mispronounced at graduation, please come to the library, during advisory, on either May 19th and May 20th to practice with the senior class officers.
- Senior Sunset: May 12th on the soccer field from 6:30 – 8:30. Come join us for food, fun, and leaving your mark on Alta!
Work-Based Learning Career Exploration Activities
- Law Enforcement Career Open House – April 30th 11:30am-1:00pm:
- Learn about various career opportunities in Law Enforcement
- At Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST)
- Hands-on displays including K9s, Drones, Motorcycles, Helicopters

- Health Science Internship for 2025-26 School Year (please reference attached flier): Students who will be Seniors and Juniors next year that are interested in the Medical Field are invited to apply for the Wasatch Front Health Science Partnership Group Internship for 1st or 2nd Semester for 2025-2026 school year.
- Applications are due to Janet Jefferson in room 2117 by May 5, 2025. (Attached)
- Interviews will be held May 5 & 6.
- Description of Internship:
- Students will be involved in a variety of experiences including learning in the high school internship classroom, group hands-on activities, hospital department tours, college simulation labs or clinics and may include some individual job shadowing at various locations.
- Locations will vary from week to week. Schedule will be available well ahead.
- Students must be 16 years old.
- Students will need to provide their own transportation.
- Selected students will enroll in the 8th period Internship Class at Corner Canyon High School
