UTAH STATE SENATE YOUTH PROGRAM Available to any high school junior or senior student serving in an elected capacity in any one of the following: student government, civic, or educational organizations. (Student body officer, class officer, student council representative, civic government positions, student representative to district, regional, or state-level civic or education program.) Two delegates will be chosen to represent the State of Utah on an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. held March 4 - 11, 2017.
WENDY'S HIGH SCHOOL HEISMAN Applicant must be a senior in high school with at least a “B” grade average, and who participates in at least one of 27 sports. Competition is judged on three criteria that are of equal importance: Athletic Accomplishments, Academic Achievements, Community Leadership and Involvement in various extracurricular activities during grades 9-11. NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP Applicant must take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) on Wednesday, October 19th and must be a U.S. citizen. This test is elective for 10th and 11th grade students. Students must register, and pay $17.00 for this test online at http://user.totalregistration.net/PSAT/40..50402 before the test date. Tests are sold on a first come basis. Only students in the 11th grade will be able to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship.

AES ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS SCHOLARSHIP Applicant must be a high school senior. AES NEUROSCIENCE RESEARCH PRIZE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS The applicant must be enrolled in a secondary school (grades 9-12) in the U.S. The application must represent original laboratory research as well as the original written work of the applicant. No group projects will be accepted.

UTAH HISPANIC BUSINESS LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP (SOMOS) Applicant must be enrolled in high school and be a resident of Utah and of Hispanic/Latino descent. Applicant must have demonstrated leadership in school, community and/or other service organizations that promote, enhance or strengthen diversity, and demonstrate financial need. Applicant must have a critical financial need with a family income of $55,000.00 or less. Applicant must have overcome adversity with integrity and perseverance. The applicant for the Santa Clara University-Schott Family scholarship must have a minimum GPA of 3.4 and plan to attend Santa Clara University.
